Customers of Monarch Holidays
If you are an ATOL protected Monarch Holidays customer and are being asked by your hotel to pay for your accommodation, you should not need to pay any charges yourself. The CAA has contacted all hotel suppliers to guarantee payment to allow customers to continue their trip without being asked to pay again. If however you are required to make a further payment for your accommodation, please pay this and then make a claim to the CAA when you return to the UK. Make sure you get a receipt from the hotel or apartment, showing a full breakdown of the charges, as you will need this to make a claim when you get back to the UK. If you pay in cash, please get the hotel or apartment to confirm your payment on your receipt.

If you booked your accommodation directly with Somewhere2stay Ltd, you are not ATOL protected. Customers with these bookings are not entitled to make a claim to the CAA. You are advised to contact your card issuer, insurer or PayPal for advice on how to claim a refund.
If you a booked a holiday with another travel company or travel agent, with accommodation provided by Somewhere2stay Ltd, you should contact the travel company or travel agent directly about your arrangements. They are responsible for arranging alternative accommodation for you.
